I ended up liking it, but it's limitations dampened my feelings.+ Decent speed if it doesn't jam + Low profile - can fit easily under a desk + Large capacity for the shreds - don't have to empty as often + Clears jams easily in reverse mode + You can use the stack area to store papers until you are ready to shred, and then do it all at once - The stack tray doesn't work well (or at all) with thick papers, folded papers, or papers smaller than standard 8.5x11. All of these will result in paper jams. When the stack tray feeds the paper into the shredder mechanism, it pulls the paper to the middle and folds it in half first. The rollers have a hard time folding thick paper, and if the paper is too small and not in a good position, the rollers can't grab it. - Jams more frequently than I would have expected - You can't let the bin fill completely with paper shreds. Anything with my name or my husband's name on it, I shred it. Not because I'm paranoid, I'm not, but if you can, why not? First let me say that just because it can handle 80 sheets doesn't mean it can shred that many, at least not all at the same time, or anywhere near it. It does however allow you to place a stack of up to 80 sheets under the lid on the top and this unit very effectively handles the chore for you to auto feed the sheets one at a time.As far as the individual capacity I had placed some old spreadsheets in there which were really an 8 1/2" x 11" when folded over so it was equivalent to two sheets with a common edge binding them. Since this unit draws each sheet from the center, effectively doubling each sheets thickness as it draws it down it was actually handling 4 sheets at a time. It only slowed down when doing so but didn't complain a bit. The adding machine tape stapled to it had about 5 folds making it 10 thicknesses on its own, but it is only the width of adding machine tape.
