The device correctly identified the acupuncture points that the acupuncturist was using to to treat my chronic headaches. In between treatments, it lowered my pain level.I also used it to identify other meridians that deal with headaches with these two books: "Acupuncture Potent Points" by Michael Reed Gach and "The Encyclopedia of Healing Points" by Roger Dalet, MD. Both are sold by Amazon. Remember, that there are various theories about which points treat various illnesses. I had one acupuncturist tell that and in trying other acupuncturists, I have found that to be true. So that is why I bought two books. I mostly used acupressure, instead of using the stimulator function of the device.
