I've put together many pieces of furniture but this one was tricky and it took an hour and a half to assemble. The side sections are not marked as to which end is up. You MUST be sure the side section holes match the ones on the middle section or the shelves will not be horizontal. After taking it apart a few times, I joined the top and one side piece first and this worked well for me. I was very careful to match the sides and center piece, which is essential. The bookcase is perfect for a small space I have. The unit's pieces join together snugly and the shelves are adjustable which is just what I needed. Apparently there is only one way to do them and the instructions do not clearly say which side needs to go up. My husband is taking it apart and fixing it right now. :(Otherwise, it's a nice sturdy unit and will work well for organizing my craft room! |
