I Recently bought one of this lamps, But 3 things happend:
1.-According to the seller the shiping weight was 8 Pounds but When I recive it it was 11 Pounds, For me this is a problem 'couse I live outside US so I Ended up paying 70% of the Lamp Price only on Shiping chargers from Miami to Dominican Republic. I did my Shiping Calculations based on 8 Pounds and not 11 Pounds.

2.- The Magnifier Glass keeps falling, The Clips to hold it are not very strong so If You are not carefull The Magnifying glass could drop and brake.

3.- The Color is not what Looks on the Picture they show in amazon. If You see the picture the Lamp Head looks Metallic but is made of plastic.
4.- The Light is not too bright

Pros: The Magnifier power is Very Good.

The package arrived beat to hell. There were no instructions. When I went to set the lamp up onto the stand, the peg busted and the whole thing fell. If I had not misplaced the reciept, I would have returned it straight away. I will have no more dealings with Kotula's that is for sure.

It seems to be a good product for our assembly and for our quality control--both of which deal with very small parts. We always come back to buy another one if we need to develop a new work station.
